We’re excited to introduce something new at Vortex—our Quiet Sessions, designed to create a more inclusive, supportive space for our community.
Starting this Thursday 30th, and running every Thursday morning during school term from 10:00am to 11:30am, these sessions are tailored for neuro divergent guests, individuals with disabilities, and anyone who benefits from a calmer, low-sensory environment.
During Quiet Sessions, we make simple but meaningful adjustments to the venue. Music and announcements are turned off, creating a more relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy activities at their own pace, without the usual noise and sensory overload.

Flexible Activity Options – All $13
To keep things simple and accessible, we offer three different activity options, all priced at $13 per person. Guests can choose the experience that suits them best:
18 Holes of Mini Golf – enjoy a full round in a quieter, more comfortable setting
Sensory Zone Play – explore and play with reduced noise (harnessed activities still subject to height and weight restrictions)
UFO & Bumper Car Experience – enjoy the rides with fewer sensory triggers and a more relaxed pace
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, however bookings are recommended to help us maintain a comfortable environment for everyone attending.

Supporting Carers
We understand how important support people are, which is why carers are welcome to attend and join in activities free of charge when supporting a paying guest. Our goal is to make this experience as accessible and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.
A Few Things to Know
If you’re planning to visit the Sensory Zone, please remember that grip socks are required. You’re welcome to bring your own, or they can be purchased on-site for $3.90.
